Andreana 
Prichard, PhD

Honors College

Dr. Andreana Prichard (she/her) is a historian, professor, author, and podcaster. Originally from Ventura, CA, she earned a PhD in African History from Northwestern University in 2011 and now serves as the Wick Cary Associate Professor in the Honors College at the University of Oklahoma. Her research focuses on the history of Western evangelical development initiatives in East Africa, with her current project examining the global "do-gooder" economy through the lens of a 2014 legal case involving an Oklahoma missionary. In addition to her academic work, Andreana supports faculty development and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and their dog, Blue, exploring water and sand destinations in their camper.
